Will perform the following procedures on all

 

COOLING SYSTEM PRECISION TUNE-UPS

 

 

1.           Cycle the complete system (air conditioning and heating as well as fan operation).

2.           Replace up to one standard throwaway filter 1” or clean one permanent filter per system.

3.           Remove and clean the indoor blower assembly, which includes the blower wheel on the indoor unit.

4.           Remove and clean the indoor blower motor on the indoor unit.

5.           Lubricate all moving parts on indoor unit.

6.           Test and record all voltages on indoor blower motor.

7.           Test and record all amperages on indoor blower motor.

8.           Test and examine all controls on indoor unit.

9.           Tighten or adjust all belts and pulleys within indoor or outdoor units.

10.       Examine and tighten all electrical connections within indoor unit.

11.       Examine and clean indoor evaporator coil (if accessible).

12.       Clean and treat condensate drain line from indoor coil to main drain line (only to wall or floor).

13.       Clean and treat condensate pump if part of the cooling drain system.

14.       Examine duct condition (if accessible).

15.       Test and record indoor air temperature.

16.       Test and record indoor temperature drop in cooling mode. (Summer only)

17.       Test and record refrigerant pressures if outdoor temperature is above 70deg. F.               (Low and high side).

18.       Monitor refrigerant charge on refrigerant system.

19.       Test and record superheat on refrigerant system.

20.       Test and record sub cooling on refrigerant system.

21.       Clean outdoor condenser coil on outdoor unit.

22.       Remove any trash or debris from outdoor unit.

23.       Examine and tighten all electrical connections on outdoor unit.

24.       Examine and test all controls on outdoor unit.

25.       Test safety controls on outdoor unit.

26.       Test and clean outdoor fan motor.

27.       Test and record all voltages on outdoor unit (fan motor and compressor).

28.       Test and record all amperages on outdoor unit (fan motor and compressor).

29.       Lubricate all moving parts on outdoor unit.

30.       Replace any missing screws on indoor or outdoor units.

31.       Visually inspect indoor and outdoor coils and copper tubing for refrigerant leaks.

32.       Examine and tighten all electrical connections on disconnect of outdoor unit.

Will perform the following procedures on all

 

HEATING SYSTEM PRECISION TUNE-UPS

 

 

1.      Cycle the complete system (air conditioning and heating as well as fan operation).

2.      Clean and level the thermostat – calibrate, adjust, and record heat anticipator setting.

3.      Replace up to one standard throwaway filter 1” or clean one permanent filter per system.

4.      Remove and clean the indoor blower assembly, which includes the blower wheel on the indoor unit.

5.      Remove and clean the indoor blower motor on the indoor unit.

6.      Lubricate all moving parts on indoor unit.

7.      Test and record all voltages on indoor blower motor.

8.      Test and record all amperages on indoor blower motor.

9.      Test and examine all controls on indoor unit.

10.  Tighten or adjust all belts and pulleys within indoor unit.

11.  Test and record voltages on electric heat strips.

12.  Test and record amperages on electric heat strips.

13.  Clean and adjust burner assembly.

14.  Test and clean ignition assembly.

15.  Clean heat exchanger and examine for possible cracks.

16.  Test and record gas pressures at indoor furnace.

17.  Leak test for gas leaks at furnace gas piping connections.

18.  Monitor flue draft on gas furnace.

19.  Examine and tighten all electrical connections within indoor unit.

20.  Examine duct condition (if accessible).

21.  Test and record indoor air temperature.

22.  Test and record indoor temperature rise in heating mode. (Winter only)

23.  Remove any trash or debris from indoor unit.

24.  Replace any missing screws on indoor unit.

25.  Examine and clean indoor evaporator coil (if accessible).

26.  Clean and treat condensate drain line from indoor coil to main drain line (only to wall or floor).

27.  Clean and treat condensate pump if part of the cooling drain system.
